Healthy Diet During Breastfeeding

When a woman is pregnant, her appetite is always on a high as the growing baby takes nutrition from the mother. The body is trying hard to prepare the supply of milk to the body and getting the mother ready for lactation. After a woman gives birth, it is required that the body is developed well so that there is good quality of milk. It affects how the body rebounds from the time of childbirth. Doctors recommend at least an extra 500 calories every day for all the mothers who breastfeed and they maintain that it is what you eat that matters than the intake of calories. The nutritious quality of the food you eat is of very important consequence during the breastfeeding stages of a woman. After you give birth, good nutrition is even more important than during your pregnancy. It can make a difference in the quality of your breast milk and affect how quickly your body rebounds from childbirth.
