Natural Remedies for Spider Veins

Witch hazel:
The extract of this herb is known for its astringent properties. It is widely used as an external remedy of spider veins. If you have developed this skin disorder, soak a clean piece of cloth or cotton ball into extracts of witch hazel and apply the extract directly on the affected regions of your skin. Repeat the procedure 2 to 3 times every day. This should be continued until the spider veins go away.

Horse chestnut: This herb helps in strengthening the veins and in the process brings back their lost elasticity. People with spider veins must consume a single daily dose of 250mg standardized extracts of this herb until the signs of spider vein subside completely. Applying those herbal solutions regularly on the ailing skin will speed up the healing procedure of spider veins.

Apple cider vinegar: This is another prevalent home remedy of spider veins. Applying apple cider vinegar on the skin areas with spider veins regularly will increase blood circulation in that region and gradually the spider veins will start clearing up. This remedy involves the following steps:

  • Soak a piece of clean cloth in generous amount of apple cider vinegar.
  • When the cloth soaks the entire apple cider vinegar, place it on the skin areas with spider veins.
  • Wait for 15-20 minutes before removing the cloth.
  • This process must be repeated at least two times every day; after one month you will experience significant improvement in your skin condition.
